Shrine for an Illinois County Road The lack of natural habitat in central Illinois has driven the little sulfur butterfly (Eurema lisa) to roadsides in search of food and host plants to lay their eggs on. This shrine was constructed to commemorate the large number of them that are killed by passing cars on county roads in this area. 2003
